Why I chose scrapbooking!

According to my mom, ever since I was little, I loved to scrapbook. Any time she was scrapbooking, I wanted her to give me my own materials so I could do my own. She thought it was funny because all I did was slap a photo on a page, maybe add couple stickers, and wrote some things down and called it a day. When I was home in Calgary for a short weekend trip, I decided to take a look at the scrapbooks I put together when I was little.

I have not scrapbooked in a very long time, and over this past summer I really wanted to try it out again, but I never got around to it. As soon as I heard about this free inquiry project, I knew I wanted to do scrapbooking. I believe that it is important to have hobbies, especially as an outlet from the busy day to day life. I hope my scrapbooking journey can be an outlet for me to wind down after busy days at school, or a fun activity to do on the weekend.

In each blog post, I will try to reflect on the process of scrapbooking and see what challenges I might encounter. I would also like to post content about resources both physical and online that I found helpful when scrapbooking.
